On a Saturday in Jimbocho, Tokyo's used-book district, a student (A) stops at the bargain cart outside a secondhand bookstore, where she has just said hello to her professor (B), who is holding an old book from it.

    Sensei, sono hon, ikura desu ka?

    Professor, how much is that book?

    全部ぜんぶ300円えんですよ。

    Zenbu sanbyakuen desu yo.

    They're all 300 yen.

  3. A

    じゃあ、この本ほん、買かいます！

    Jā, kono hon, kaimasu!

    Then I'm getting this one!
